The first edition of A Game of Thrones: The Card Game also contained too many keywords for players to easily remember. In the second edition of the game, existing keywords have been pruned and some new keywords have been added to showcase the most interesting and essential interactions.
What do you think is this game still worth investing for a casual fun vs. Play with friends? I think about only buying 3x core and the deluxe expansions for the factions, and thats it, all the chapters would be too expensive for me.I dont plan to play it competitively, just with friends 2 player or sometimes more.

The graphic design on the cards is really good, the mechanics have been streamlined, and the designers seem to have learned from various infinite combinations which plagued the first edition, by building-in future-proofing.

The Core set and deluxe expansions will not rotate but rather remain "evergreen". The LCG model makes Thrones a relatively cheap investment compared to other card games.
